Host Milano is a biennial event that gathers together the world\u2019s premier distributors, restaurateurs, coffee and tea entrepreneurs, architects, chefs, retailers, consulting firms, hoteliers, and more for an expansive four-day trade show exploring all facets of the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n
Host2019, which will take place October 18\u201322 in Milan, Italy, will feature more than 1,426 confirmed exhibitors hailing from 52 different countries; more than 500 events, including workshops, data and research presentations, tastings, training opportunities, and compelling competitions; and three macro-areas spanning 16 pavilions for attendees to explore. Sectors at the event will include foodservice equipment; bread, pizza, and pasta; coffee and tea; bar, coffee machines, and vending; gelato, pastry, and bakery; furniture; technology; and tablewares. Host2019 is also emphasizing sector hybridization this year, with a focus on complementary industry fusion opportunities.<\/p>\n
In collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, there will be over 1,500 hosted buyers from 80 different countries in attendance, making purchasing decisions for their own companies around the world.<\/p>\n
The coffee and tea macro-area will include a selection of roasters, importers, producers, and industry players from five different continents, all available to meet in one space. Innovative service area equipment, vending machines, beverages, and accessories will all be on exhibit as well.<\/p>\n

Coffee programming will include the 2019 Italian Coffee Bar Grand Prix, which brings together the best Italian baristas from across the country to battle it out, making two espressos, two cappuccinos, and two coffee drinks, each containing a typical Italian ingredient. The Italian Latte Art Grading Battle Final and the World Latte Art Grading Battle Final will both also take place at Host2019, welcoming champions from 22 countries to compete for the world title.<\/p>\n
Created in collaboration between POLI.design, the Polytechnic University of Milan spin-off, the Smart Label Award will be returning, acknowledging the most innovative products and services developed.<\/p>\n
Host2019 functions as a global hub for product and process developments in consumer marketing, retail layout, operations, equipment, products, and more to all be exhibited in one place. Guests will be able to experience innovations and meet with key industry professionals from around the world, allowing for endless business and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n
