[P]ortland, Oregon’s K&F Coffee Roasters welcomes Rudy Zarfas as its new owner. The city’s oldest family owned and operated coffee roaster, K&F was previously under ownership of Don Dominguez, who founded the company in 1983 with his father, Bud. Under their leadership and vision, the brand became known for its high-quality customer service and passion for coffee.

Zarfas comes to K&F from DS Services of America, where he served as Northwest Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. He began selling K&F products and furthering his knowledge of coffee two decades ago.

“Nearly 20 years ago, we cupped coffee together for the first time. Rudy instantly fell into his passion for specialty coffee and decided this was something he wanted to do the rest of his life,” says Dominguez. “Rudy is the perfect successor for K&F Coffee Roasters with his years of experience in the coffee industry, his devotion to K&F Coffee specifically, and having managed a salesforce of over 200.”
